- Only spot what is generally accepted as DX (i.e. relatively rare or exotic
calls on that band, mode and time)
- Don't spot the exact QSX frequency (it just makes the pileup more
difficult for the DX to handle: "UP" or "DOWN" is enough,
My thanks to the many who responded to my email and request for ino on DX

I think many nodes on that page have outdated information, try

How is the internet you're connected to via WiFi or even cellular different

Is there a DX Cluster that I can access via the internet that allows me to make
queries (eg. SH/DX FT5GA) and shows me an active cluster with DX Spots, etc. I
need something that allows DX Cluster access/interaction while I am away from
home using my laptop via wireless links.

I've been using the GB7DGK cluster for a number of years without any
problems (using Mac iDXSpot software)yesterday when I logged in I
started seeing user login and logout announcements along with the
spots, something I'd never seen before. Here's an example:

Hi,
ALL I suggested was a way to make the spots more useful. Some of us really enjoy studying propagation and enjoy trying to learn a little from time to time. If a station is hearing the DX and I am not I am very interested in learning why - which usually ends in a lesson in propagation /

Some of that might be useful info. Note the frequency is already

Hi,
This is N5PHT, Gary, writing from North Texas. I once before suggested this idea and it really didn't catch on - maybe I did not try it long enough and would really like to try again if there is some support.
The DX spots could be made in a uniform way that would really give helpful info i
I think you will find that these spots are not limited to DXers looking
for DX. It's a great tool for contesters who are looking for spots, i.e.
those in the "assisted class" and not doing it on their own. That, more or
likely, would be where a U.S. station spots another U.S. station. Such
as the c
But what is rare DX. What is NOT DX to you - might be DX to somebody else.
Not the first time I have worked a new one, from a spot issued by a
stateside station for somebody who was NOT dx to them, but one that I

I have some questions about dx spots you see on dx summit or on the
clusters. No complaints (ok, well maybe one), just some questions about
who spots who.
I notice that during contests you will see U.S. stations spotting Europe
stations for example, and some Europe stations spotting U.S. stations
