I have 13.10 x64 running on an Atom netbook and a Core i7 monster. On
both after a reboot the 'restart' item is in the menu. After a few
minutes it disappears from the i7 menu but remains in the Atom. Is it
really so hard to delete an item in a config list?

(from 4.2). No change.
Also seems like with multi-display setup, it's even more screwed up, and
the seamless mode puts the virtual machine somehow between (!) the
workspaces and what remains "visible" is not being drawn right
The screenshot I attached might be confusing: virtual machine was
started in workspace 1, and that is between workspaces 1 and 2. The
green part is from WinXP's start menu. VirtualBox's own toolbar (or
whatever it is called) shows correctly when mouse is hovered over it.

On my experience the dash only finds files that have been opened before. Try
opening the file that you are searching for and do the search again. If it
finds it, you could update the bug title.
Anyway, I think this is a very serious issue, it takes away the trustworthiness
of the dash completely

Digging around the code a bit, it seems the problem is that we aren't
reading the enabled status from the gmenumodel in menumodel-collector.c.
I have no idea if this is possible (should be easy, right? but can't
find a simple "enabled" attribute or anything obvious like that).

I have an application that creates and destroys a large amount of
windows. If a lot of windows have to be closed simultaneously, then a
number of "untitled window"-icons remain in the launcher. These icons
can't be removed from the launcher until you log off.

I tried to get more information about this misbehaviour: It mostly occurs when
nautilus is opened by another application and it was not activated yet, it has
got the blue attention arrows next to it. Nautilus is open in background, when
I click on unity nautilus launcher it opens the new window
