[Dx-packages] [Bug 1440111] Re: Reminder notifications are not integrated into system notifications

2015-04-22 Thread Guillaume F
I should add that in some cases, it can be problematic. There is another bug in the calendar-app, in which all events trigger alarms at the time of the event even though no reminder was set in Google (haven't tried with local calendar). This means that you have no control over the alarms and

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1308037] Re: No results from application scope

2014-10-26 Thread Guillaume F
It happens on my system too, with 14.10. I guess it's a timeout problem, because it usually happens when I'm too eager to open the Dash right after a cold boot (those can be very long). The files scope is quite long to come up too, but at least it comes up. -- You received this bug

[Dx-packages] [Bug 814833] Re: Opening the dash is very slow and laggy

2014-07-10 Thread Guillaume F
On my computers, the Dash opens quickly the first time, but it takes too long to populate (and therefore, to be useable), which is a bit annoying, and frustrating for new users. It wasn't the case in 12.04. It kind of defeats the whole search-everthing-quickly thing, particularly for apps that

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1247390] Re: Unity 8 indicators mixed with Unity 7

2013-12-10 Thread Guillaume F
True. But if 14.04 gives the user a preview session with unity8, it might be problematic. Especially the conflict with Empathy. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. Matching subscriptions: dx-packages

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1241959] [NEW] No immediate visual hint that scopes are disabled

2013-10-19 Thread Guillaume F
Public bug reported: Hi, When I try to disable individual scopes, there are no visual hints that it is done. I think it's supposed to be greyed out, but it does not. However, some of the scopes I disabled earlier (a few reboots before) are now greyed out. I use Ubuntu Saucy, 32bits. Thanks
