Mel,
Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded and installed USERPORT.SYS - didn't
work. I suspect this problem has something to do with the way DX4WIN
addresses the parallel port and the way the XP "protects" it.
If anyone is running XP and talking to LPT2 from DX4WIN, I'd like to hear
from you.

Another most strange thing I discovered occurs when Importing a DXQ File

If the QSO time has 59 seconds in it the number or seconds is changed to 58
during importing!!! Can you believe it?
I spent quite a few hours trying to figure out why I get duplicate

I fond that my Lava LPT2 did not work under XP. In my case, I only needed
one port, so I used LPT1 and moved my printer to LPT2... this won't work for
you.
Did you try using "userport.sys" ... here's one location for it

Any tips on how to stop the CW sound being routed through the PC speaker

operating late at night and possibly disturbing the family when they're
trying to sleep. I didn't see a software switch anywhere.then again, I

There are a few of these, less serious than Mel's discovery -- for example,
the Alt-A spot posting routine truncates the frequency rather than roundin

I had been poking around with 6.02 trying to determine
how to look at Logbook view sorted by Callsign. I
had used the Sort->Call feature in the QSO window but
was confused as it jumped around in the Logbook
window.
I found that if you right click with the mouse in the

Actually I had wondered about it myself... Learn something new every
