Hi Paul,
Thanks for the 7.05 release.
But You forgot to fix the ADIF IMPORT routine.
I send again to You my email of Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
So if You want however to import the QSL_VIA MNGR,
(unnecessary for Dx4win), please redirect it to Notes for
this QSO field, and NOT to Notes for this
Re my last post, I find that the QSO entry mode follows the last spot mode,
even though I am not connected. Only if I clear all spots do I get the
default mode.

I've just installed it, from 7.03, and find the following problems:
1. The QSO Mode does not default to that set in Preferences. It comes
up as CW, not SSB.
2. QSO Modes are not sorted.
3. DX4WIN.MAS is not found, no matter where I put it. Error, File not
found, no
Regarding #3 below, the master file is not distributed with DX4WIN. Go to
http://dx4win.ad1c.us to find instructions for downloading and installing it.
It *does* work with 7.05, I just checked.

There's a check box in the preferences to control this.
Go to File - Preferences, click on the Packet1 tab, and uncheck the box that
says, Update QSO Window.

Regarding #2, the modes are sorted.
The modes you have checked (enabled) in your QSO preferences come up first
(sorted), then the remaining modes follow (also sorted).

Hi Folks,
On the DX4WIN download page, Paul writes:
Installation instructions for Windows Vista:

Hi Lou,
The Options for Duplicate QSOs pop-up has a scroll bar on the right side that
you can use to see the rest of the choices, including the one you're looking
for. However, that scroll bar is almost invisible in 7.05, I hadn't noticed
this in earlier betas. You can use the up/down arrow
DX4WIN has an interesting sorting feature. A call like HB0/DL7ON will be
sorted with the other DL (Germany) calls instead of the HB0 (Liechtenstein)
calls. This gets the QSL card to the right place. It means the QSL manager
database doesn't need to have entries like HB0/DL7ON via DL7ON (i.e.
Guys, I hate to ask this question because, according to the archives and Jim's
website, the
problem was resolved in 2006. However, I can't get QRZ to work with my 7.0.3
version. I tried
installing it in the root of my C drive and also the default location. I have
also tried 2

I updated the DX4WIN release notes on my web site to include 7.05:

Unlike the version history on http://www.dx4win.com, this one goes back
to version 5.01.
