To fix this, open up Windows explorer, and type %AppData%\TrustedQSL in
the address bar. Don't include the quotes, but do include the percent signs.
delete all of the log.* and db.* files from that folder.

Tnx Rick,
There are no log.* or db.* files in the AppData\TrustedQSL folder.
I think I am running all programs as administrator - I do not know how
to change that.
I am back using v. 1.1 and that works OK.

You probably don't have permission to create the required files for the
database. If you take ownership of the TrustedQSL folder, then TQSL should
be able to create the required files.
What version of Windows are you running?

Jesse,
There is no Security tab in the Properties. There is no Advanced button
either, and no Ownership button.
This is XP Professional.
Thanks anyway. I just might be too old for this (68y).

The version of TQSL I am using works great. I have
used it for years. So, until it stops working, I will stick
with it. Can't really figure what features 1.14.1 must have

At a minimum it makes the signing and upload as one step (same as just

In Windows XP Professional I had to uncheck Use Simple File Sharing
(which is default) in Control Panel/Folder Options to see the Security
options and the Ownership Tab.
Now I see I have the ownership, but nothing has changed: T-QSL cannot
write the TQ6-file and reports Database error.
