Carol,
Make sure that File, Preferences, QSO tab and under QSO Date is set to Range.
Then when you use a filter you will be prompted for a data range to choose.
Filter on your date and
then export the ADIF file.

I use groups. One for VE3XD and one for VE3XD/W4. I also have a group for my
old callsign VE3BUC and a few other groups for temporary callsigns I've used
for special events.. There are over 100,000 Qs in my DX4WIN log and this
approach works very well.

Hi Jim,
I too have never lost my log and I have my doubts that it is a problem with
DX4WIN. Your diagnosis of shutting down the computer before the cache is
written might be likely especially if the shutdown it done using the power

Jim,
I've used an IO Gear USB to serial adaptor for rig control with a Yaesu Mark
V with good results in SSB contests. No CW, FSK but only rig interfacing.
Don't know about the K3 specifically. If you plan to use it for CW and/or
Rtty then I use a Microham Microkeyer for that.

Hi Glyn,
Not sure what you are doing but I just hit F8 (filter) and type in the call
sign. Press Enter and all contacts for that call will appear in the Logbook
and/or the Same Call window if it is open. I then visually scan the list for
a matching date and time.

Hi Jim,
Is this program the same as wl2dx4win.exe? If so I use it all the time. My
version is from 2005 but I forget where I got it from. If yours is
different then an updated one would be useful.
BTW I went to the revealing of the 2009 TL last night in Toronto. Quite a
show and a nice update
Whoops. Sorry all for the personal comments on the group. Forgot to remove
the extra address. At least it was clean. ;-)

Dave,
Interesting that you mentioned not to use zero. I've always used 0 for my
call VE3BUC and that is the one that is now not working. Other calls do
work okay when printing the label.

Jim,
I've tried counties.exe with both my CAQP and PAQP log from Writelog and
everything worked well. Imported into DX4WIN and all the county and state
info is there. Sure beats some of the clumsy manual efforts I've used in the
past. Thanks for your work.
