I have always used the same settings as Mike except sometimes on different computers the com port varies.. And this includes using the USB interface on the rig. You should be able to use the same settings on the KX3. There are some differences, but not enough to bother. At least it has never

How does one deal with periods of operation when in another grid? I travel for work and will set up a portable operation and work some FT4/8 but I don't see how to track this in my main log. I don't want to work people from North Dakota and submit to LOTW showing that I was in Nebraska. -- Jim

Before you do anything else! Navigate to the save directory for your Dx4Win files. Look for a file called something like N2MMLog.~XL. This is the log file from before the last file save. Now, rename or delete (your choice) your current log file (like N2MMlog.DXL, then rename the N2MMLog.~XL to
