I cannot get this window to stay where I put it. I have rewritten ini.txt
every time I reposition the window. Every time I bring up dx4win it is in
the middle of my screen underneath log window.
Anyone have any ideas?

Randy, make sure you have at least one mode and one band selected in

I checked this, based on earlier answers in the reflector. I had all

This solution from Jim AD1C did the trick. I simply moved DX4WIN.CFG to

I recently started getting this error when trying to open the country
window: Ann exception occurred! Fixed column count must be less than
column count. Other windows, such as the log window, appear as they
always have.

For some reason or other my Dx4win country window will not come up when I click
on it under the Window tab. I was doing some reconfiguring of the Dx4win
displays when it quit
working but I have no idea what I might have done to cause this. Any ideas?
Thanks and 73,

One of the things that didn't survive the development of version 6 is when
you start to type a call into the logging window, the country window would
show you what bands /modes you have that country on as soon as you
enter the prefix. With version 6, it doesn't update the country window
