The main issue with Vista onwards is the Directory trees "Program Files" and "Program files (x86)" are not normally writable... a change long overdue. What I did to get around this was create a new directory tree I call "programs" and install there, along with some other ham stuff that would ha

My only problem is the serial keying port when DX4WIN thinks it's busy when you launch DX4WIN or Save Preferences. It's an occasional problem that I've not yet chased down. I am using DX4WIN 8.04 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. My system has no parallel ports so that isn't an option for me. 73,
