Thank you all for the help with my CT-V. I replaced the Max232CEP chip
with a holder and a new chip and the unit works. (It had stopped keying
the rig.) I bought a spare chip 'just in case'. Replacing it was not
difficult but working in tight quarters made me a bit nervous.
Thanks again,
Lou, AA1

I had originally reported ( a few weeks ago and got excellent advice off

problem is that my CT-17 no longer works. There is no visible damage to

Subject: [Dx4win] Icom 765 mod
When DX4WIN sets the mode on my 765 as the result of mousing on a DX spot
for a CW station, the mode is set to CW OK, but with the wide filter.
Anyone know if the rig is capable of having DX4WIN select the narrow filter
at the same time, and what is the change required to do that? Thanks.

I have an ICOM 765 that used to work with DX4WIN 4.08 and my last computer
running NT 4.0
I still have the ICOM 765 but changed computers and upgraded to 5.03. I
still run NT 4.0.
My problem is that I can no longer get the computer to key the rig when
clicking on a DX spot. If the radio is 'St
