Tell him to try turning off Transceive mode in the ICOM (it's somewhere in one of the radio menus). This mode causes the transceiver to babble every time the dial is turned. It can cause problems similar to what he is seeing. 73 - Jim AD1C On Sun, Dec 21, 2008 at 5:00 AM, Larry Gauthier (K8UT)
