So, I have configured perfect filters on an ixgbe card, and I'm seeing
something strange. The filter I'm using is based on VLAN. The problem is, it's
not fully working. I'm getting basically 122 or 123 flows (ntuple) on the
queue, other flows on that vlan are going to another queue on the card.
We're having an issue with bonding not working properly with specific versions
of the ixgbe driver. Let me start by describing the setup.
Server is running CentOS 5.4 with kernel 2.6.18-164.15.1.el5. The server has a
dual port X520 card. We are trunking two VLAN's to each interface via an Arista
Anyone know of any way in the driver/proc/ethtool/etc to figure out what type
of SFP+ is inserted? Specifically what model num, etc that it is?

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
We have an issue with X520-DA cards when they are connected to Arista 7124SX
switches, and only these switches. All our other Arista switches are fine. The
issue is that we have continual increasing lsc_int values via ethtool, with it
sometimes taking the link down, others not. It's not the swit
packets...
Thanks,

I ran into a similar issue, I had to fix it by running ip link commands after
the network came up to force them to a high mtu.

I'm setting up flow directory to send specific VLAN's to their own queues to
use for doing tcpdump's (using pf_ring/dna).
The problem I'm having is, for some reason I'm getting packets from VLAN's that
I shouldn't onto the card (a completely separate problem). But, these packets
are getting spl
