Jake was not whining, as far as I am concerned. Why shouldn't anyone take
what you say seriously, bunny? Jake expresses something which concerns
him, a valid assessment, and your response is a joke?

well said. I have never said anything on this list, I only joined because
of my Women In Religion class at Columbia College. I was just about to
unsubscribe because I was getting bored of all of the arguments back and
forth about male bashing and women bashing. I hope this helps everyone to
see
I pick C too.
But if people keep disrespecting me because of what's between my legs I'm
gonna quit this list.

I think its fine for women to have women's only spaces if they feel the
need. If calling men ( or whites or blacks or homos or whoever) assholes is
the level of discorse that some women want to be on, then i for one would
prefer that they go to that women's only space. Everybody has

This thought has come into my head over and over today: how blaming somebdy
or some other group and avoiding any personal blame or responsability is
giving away power.

Hi Lori Anne,
Thanks for your reply. I would like to see the bashing regarding men on the
list end also - men should stay on the list and for those who have really have
a need to have a male/free zone -
No, Angela -- actually i am not into the "blame" language at all. I am
just pointing out that what is happening on this list is quite reflective
of what continually goes on "out there," namely the discussion has turned
inot one about those "male-bashing" "man-blaming" feminists. Yet another

Watch out Chris, I as a woman, also mentioned getting a new listserv for
women only and I was bashed for doing so!

Candi and Arlene,
After many such debates I, too, have come around to the point of seeing exclusion of
males as not automatically useful. In some situations it mig

Hello all...
It's interesting how many buttons I seem to push when I express my
feelings on this list.
I too am frustrated with the recent banter over this topic. It does
nothing to bring us together in our efforts to hasten the ideals of
ecofeminism into existence.
There's been a lot of talk
minating racism want a non-white space for once that they racist.
