I am not familiar with EDK2share.
Hosting "non-free-enough" source code in a EDK2 side project could
also be a possibility.
My code
project is BSD license, but

I just changed my git email for the edk2 project. I will see how it

OK Thanks.
I will also try with different (more recent) Dell laptops to see if I
have the same problem.

Maybe the edk2 EFI Usb I/O Protocol library could do something
similar?

Descriptor.ConfigurationValue is 0.
If I use ConfigurationDescriptor.ConfigurationValue = 1 (instead of 0)
I get some bytes but they look wrong:
02 40 00 00 07 05 86 03 00 00
The device is a internal USB device so I can't plug it on a USB analyzer.

Since I can use DEBUG() with a code built with edk2 I will continue
with that. I can do more testing and debug if needed. Just tell me.

ave a working edk2 build environment. I tried to rebuild
it from Lab-Material-FW.zip but it failed because the file
binutils-2.20.51.0.5.tar.bz2 is no more present in upstream
repository.
I will try again with the current svn repository.
gnu-efi is packaged by Debian so much easier to use for me.
