I used to receive a catalog (I believe it was called "Scientific Software" or "Scientific and Engineering Solutions" or something like that) that sold products such as Gauss, SAS, and MathCad. Is this catalog still available? Does anyone have their phone number? Do they have a web site? Thanks

You didn't mention any cost constraints but a really good inexpensive package is the NCSS program. It can read Excel and many data formats from other stat programs, too. Takes a little while to get used to but has really nice customizable graphics that can be output in rtf (rich text format)
