How about trying empathy client for linux which is open source or google
talk. In terms of empathy client its a multiple im client for different
protocols and also has sip capabilities. It also has other features.

then go to Ekiga and check the audio option in there to make sure your sound

pbxes sip account that's linked to google voice and when I called my Google
voice number, my Ekiga softphone on laptop rang and I answered and
everything was working properly, after few minutes later called number again
