Hi all,
I started to build the K2. Can anyone recommend a sequence for adding the
options:
- k2 noise blanker
- k2 SSB
- k2 rs232-i/o option
- k2 Audio filter and RTC
- k2 antenna tuner
- k2 160m 2nd antenna option
- k2 internal battery option?
I appreciate all input.

Hi Bart,
I built 7 K2s in the past. I would prefer the following sequence out of my
own personal preference:
1.k2 noise blanker - it is the easiest to build.
2.k2 160m 2nd antenna option - again it is easy to build
3.k2 internal battery operation - you can use battery to operate

I would suggest
1. KNB2 Noise blanker
2. K160RX 160m/2nd Ant
3. KSB2 SSB
Do those first, as they do not attached to the top cover.
then..
4. KAT2 ATU
5. KBT2 battery option
Once these are all working correctly, then add..
6. KIO2 I/O Option
and finally, the

Good Evening Folks,
The airshow in Hillsboro is underway and the Blue Angels are zipping by

The bands have been very nice this week and my K2 is working on 20 again.
I went from 3 watts out to over 100 simply

The PLL is not oscillating--there is no frequency at TP3. It is not the
frequency counter. The counter accurately reads the BFO and one side of
crystal X1.
I have checked all of the components in the oscillator (all correct, proper
polarities) and have checked (many, many times) for any
