No real hints or problems but... A 15 pin connector will fit the same hole as a 9 pin. With a little imagination, you will have 6 pins left over for, say, Pauli's PSK board or whatever. The circuit board fingers don't line up as perfectly as it would on a 9 pin, but you can make it work. It

Coax, will only exacerbate RF in the shack on an end fed long wire. You will have radiation back down the outside of the shield and if the coax is a critical fraction of a quarter wave at the shack end, it will radiate there. The unbalance in end feed with ladder line is only 10 per cent per L.
