Does anyone know what the power supply requirements are going to be for
the elecraft amp when it is ready for sale?
I have to replace mine now and figure I might as well buy one big enough
to handle it as I plan to get one when it becomes available.

#1204 is up and running without too much difficulty, other than the
builder making a "rosin joint" at one of the relays which was quickly
resolved. I made a few contacts up to 1500 miles away on 10 and 14 MHz,
using 1.5 watts (internal batteries) and a Barker & Williamson AC 1.8-30
broadband anten

I seem to remember that it weighed a ton or two - either it had a dirty
great big PSU built in or my mind is off on a jaunt of its own again. Looked
absolutely brilliant, drool factor was very high.

If I remember correctly the power supply is included. It is a switching
supply. With the smaller amp it is built-in. With the larger amp it is
external.

North American SSB QSO Party (NAQP) this Saturday.
Great for QRP and QRO. 12 hours (operate 10 hours
max)and all 50 states will be on including all VE's
and more. Fun contest. All bands 10 thru 160 (no
WARC), exchange is Name and state/provence. Starts @

For people who receive QST Magazine each month, you can see on page
20 a photo that I did last june on top on Mt Hereford. I very proud
of it. I have not received my magazine yet, but someone from the
States told me the good news this morning !!!
I was using my K2 and my Buddipole that day
I now have taken the advice offered to use Spectrogram - why didn't I think

I can now see the filter pass band and move the peak around using c20, but I
can't get the pass band centre anywhere near 700 Hz, perhaps only 450-500Hz.

this comes up from time to time. Check the speaker mounting for the screws
being overly tight and distorting the speaker frame. Or check that the
frame is not bent or warped. You have to dismount the speaker to check
that.

RS-35 Astron. I have them in parallel and fed in to a home brewed
distribution box. I had often wondered if the difference in current rating
would create any problem. Also, I have never checked to see if they both
have exactly

If the voltages are ALWAYS exactly the same, you could be OK, but if the
voltage sags on either supply, the one with the higher voltage will try to
feed into the lower voltage supply just as if it were another load. What
