Thanks, John. I wondered if Don's comments applied to lead-acid
batteries. How long should I charge it for equalization purposes, and
at what voltage? Tnxs & 73, de N8VZ (Carl)

You can still get them at Radio Shack.

It is the same plug that's used

Hi Lee,
Known as a "locking line socket 8-way" in one of the main component
supplier's catalogue in the UK. Not hea
Larry,
Depending on the design of your PSK31, that resistor COULD likely be causing
the problem by applying voltage to parts of the interface that would
'object' to it.
If your interface does not have DC isolation on the audio input line to the
K2, I would suggest that you add a series capacitor.
Probably Birkitts on Steep Hill in Lincoln if they are still there.

Does Elecraft sell a mic plug to mate with the k2 mic socket?
Otherwise, anyone know exactly what I'm looking for? It's not simply an
"8-pin DIN mic plug", is it?
Anyone know where to find some in the UK?
* Maplin are getting more and more useless every week and seem to have
nothing like it.
I am attempting to operate PSK31 on my K2. I am using a BuxCom Rascal
interface, with a cable from "external speaker" for audio into the computer,
and a cable to the mic input using both the audio in and PTT lines with a
common ground.
I am able to receive properly, and the PTT works correctly
yes! is it for sale yet??

I added the 160M module to my K2 & radio will not receive anything on this
band. The VCO voltage reading are 2.45v at 1800 & 5.63v at 2000. Using the
basic K2, I get 13 watts output on 160. Any ideas?
