Larry, you are correct that it will make no difference as long as the IC is inserted correctly, but I strongly suggest that you manually notch the other end of the socket (melt the plastic with your soldering iron tip, cut it with a knife, etc.) or put some permanent marking on the socket or board

Hi, I need some help. I can not adjust my power anymore when K2 is connected to the 100 W PA. The PA is overloaded and power meter shows 200 watt !!! I tried to switch off  PA in menu, but in this ca running with maximum QRP power.  I assume something

I only have the KAF 2 filter, and have never heard the DSP, but I am very happy with the KAF 2. If anything, position 2 boosts the cw signal, and I don't find any ringing on the cw note. I never use the KAF2 on SSB . I consider the KAF well worth the money, especially since I got it used at

As for crystal clear, I'll just say now, read the instructions carefully on the crystals, since the GND wires are placed on the sides not on the tops like you've seen in tons of stuff, and keep some nice wires like off of LEDs or even your own bus wire for the ground wires since the regular
