Hey guys,
I'm working on KPA100, and at the step to install RFC6 and others. The board
outlines and holes are for miniatures, but the only miniature I got was RFC9.
Is it ok to bend the leads on the larger chokes to bend underneath the choke to
make the holes? If I do this, the choke is about 0

Good Evening,
Both nets went well this evening. There were a few times where I only

Hi Folks,
I just posted the announcement and reports within moments of one
another. This is due to the fact that the QTH mailer bounced all of my
messages previous to today. We had good nets even though I was about to
fall asleep on the paddles. Working outside when it is cold performi

Good Evening,
Another fun week. At least I was able to get on the air a number of
times. Plus today: I'd been searching for W9C and finally got them on 40
emeters. I am going to keep trying on 80 meters until I go to bed and
then put in a little time tomorrow to see if I can bag them on 20
Has anyone used their K2/100 to key a TL922?
Do I need an external 12V relay?
Thanks,

My K1 VFO has stopped tuning.
The rig was (pretty much) fine till I replaced the tuning pot (plastic for
metal), but the problem doesn't seem to be there. I measure approx 0 to 100
k resistance as far as pin 1 of RF-RP2, so the new pot appears to be doing
its job. Voltage measured at D3 (5.9V) ch

If you used to have full output on 10 meters and don't get it any longer
after having changed R98, what comes to my mind first is that you may have
s
That is odd, Ben.
Any band-specific power change is usually associated with the bandpass
filters for that band. Ten meters could be an exception because the K2
transmit chain has the lowest gain at that band, so if something is reducing
your overall power output, it might only cause you to fail to

have a diagram for the pin outs on the Mic and was wondering if anyone
on the list used this Mic or had the pin outs for it. Thanks so much in
advance for your considerate answers.

Just finishing up building my KPA100 and performing
transmiter testing and noticed I was only able to get
a reading of 93w on 12m (one the K2 display), while I
could get 100w+ on all other bands. Current drain on
12m was similar to all other bands (less than 18A by

that I was able to get at least 10w at 28.0 MHz, and
