to build an excellent radial system without one, it makes the job a

There is no kit or PC board specific to the K1, but the same amp keying
circuit used for the K2 should work if the K1 6R signal is used as input
in place of the 8R signal used in the K2. Where you pick up the
required voltage and ground inside the K1 and how you mount it is an
exercise

This is a normal artifact of the PLL jumping from one end of its range
to the other as you tune the band. Nothing to worry about, your
encoder is not failing. Pretty much all PLL based rigs do this, it's
just more noticeable in some than others. Usually, signals and band

Try running CAL PLL again - make certain the bottom cover is in place
and the K2 is warmed up for at least 15 minutes (preferrably for 1/2 hour).
There is alway some possibility that the PLL will not increment exactly
at target on the 5 kHz boundaries, but the effect should be minimal.

I have a K2 (s/n 2833) with a seperated KPA100 and KAT100 in an EC2. I
disconnected the amp today to run as the QRP setup and my sidetone seems to be
gone! I checked with a dummy load and a signal is going out. All of the
