I've had a lot of fun with my "naked" K3. With the sunspots

The KXPD3 (paddles), KXAT3 (antenna tuner) and KXFL3 (filters) are easy to
add at any time. Nothing to disassemble for the KXAT3 or KXFL3 - you just
open the KX3 as if you were going to install batteries and plug them in. A
screw or two secures each one in its socket. Of course, the KXPD3 plugs in

Eric,
I just received mine, 0323, today. I had it on the air about 45 minutes
later and tested with a station in Florida on 17 M. I must say I'm impressed by
the work you guys did. The only thing left is to learn to use the features.

Hey Mike, thanks for all your suggestions! I reflowed the solder on K3, l11 and

So I need to look carefully at the 30/17 board now.
What really threw me was that both boards had the same symptoms.
Thanks.

According to their site, the HK0NA QSL cards were to be delivered in the
May-June timeframe. The following site:
http://www.sjdxa.org/hk0na.htm
states that they were delivered May 23 and that QSL processing has
really just begun. This site has current QSL status.

I ordered a second K3 at Dayton. It arrived Friday (I requested delayed
delivery). Its a fairly "vanilla" K3/100: KXV3, 400 Hz filter. I built
and tested it on Saturday, and made first contacts Sunday morning.
Several things worth noting:
1. The Assembly Manual (Rev L7) has been fined tuned.
I worked HK0NA a total of 3 times on two separate bands between 01/25
and 01/30, uploaded to LOTW, and requested my hard card through OQRS ---
and I still have neither hard card nor LOTW confirmation as of today.
