This config save problem is generally caused by a permissions issue to the configuration file folder. You need a folder that a non-admin can create files and write into. The default folder is c:\Users\yourname\Appdata\Roaming\Elecraft\KAT500 configuration. You should be able to create a file i

If you attempt to use KAT Utility version 1.19.5.30 to restore a saved configuration it may hang up when progress bar shows complete (full green bar). Config files can be restored with Utility version 1.16.7.25 which is the previous released version. 1.19.5.30 fixed a problem with writing SWR
