Good Evening,
Conditions were so so on twenty meters, better on forty. QSB was
mild all around with some storm noise. Winter is here. Gloom season in
the Pacific Northwest, a sodden California, with reports of snow in the
Upper Midwest. Even Georgia reported a frosty 55 F. Propagation
I was there. Steve heard me. I heard no one else.

Well, we had one check in this evening, besides myself. Steve, WM6P,
said that he could barely copy me, so perhaps the propagation was off,
and of course, we tried changing the UTC time which may have confused
some. I have a standing conflict at 8pm local time on a local 2 meter
repeater
The CW nets move around a bit. Tonight they are:
14050 kHz at 2300z Sunday (3 PM PST Sunday)

The SSB nets are:
1800z (1 PM EST) on 14303.5

Fellow Elecrafters,
After the recent time change, we found that when attempting to meet at
0100 UTC, which now comes out to 8pm EST, there were several other

I listened until after 9pm EST, which was our normal time during
It's all working now, and I can't explain why.
Rich VE3KI sent me a suggestion off-list to try the Windows 10 Sound
Control Panel.
The ONLY thing I did there was select the USB CODEC, check that the

produced a few tones, and
Here are the stations checking in for the SSB Net for Sunday October 31, 2021.
Thanks again to the relay stations for their help picking up additional

That info is posted on this list weekly. Here is the notice that came in
for today's CW nets:
14050 kHz at 2300z Sunday (3 PM PST Sunday)
7047 kHz at 0030z Monday (4:30 PM PST Sunday)
I don't have the SSB net info at hand.
