I have run PSK31 on my KX3 using a USB sound “card” that I got for about $5
from Amazon. I also used the standard rig to computer RS232/USB cable that came
with the radio for controlling the radio, PTT, etc from the computer. With the
sound card, I had to include a pad in the radio to microphone
No need. Paid for a mic; will get a mic. (Wayne promised!)

I got my shack-in-a-box KX2 last month (I did wait 8 or 9 weeks or
something.) No complaints..I knew there'd be a wait, but it shipped without
the microphone. (unbeknownst to me at the time)
I've been told I'll get it when they get them. I know the webpage currently

I’ve had my KX3 for about 4 months now and it is a wonderful radio. I am
almost exclusively a CW operator but I am a little bit curious about some of
the digital modes, especially PSK31. My radio flawlessly communicates with my
logging software (RumLogNG) using the ACC1 jack and my question is
I replaced the KDSP2 with a newly built KAF2 today and am happy to report
the noise is gone. Not sure if the board swap had anything to do with it,
but everything sounds great now and hope that continues.

I will use this for SSB exclusively. Being “new” to 80, I don’t yet know the

The antenna has a narrow 2:1 bandwidth, and my main interest is DX.

Thanks all, I must have missed the post from Wayne.
Thank you all for the input, sounds like it's not just mic parts holding

This is a listing for W6KLE, a local ham not on this list. He would like
to sell his very nice K2/100 that was built by Don Wilhelm. It is 10m-80m

is in perfect working condition. He's asking $1400. Contact me off list
I believe that Wayne posted in the past week or so that there are still
some KX2 components that they have not received.

If the MH3 is what’s delaying your radio, the KX2 is quite usable with its
internal microphone. You could ask them to send it now and then have the
microphone sent when it becomes available.

Hi all,
In an effort to satisfy my "kid in a candy store" anxiousness without
calling Elecraft and adding to the probably hundreds of calls they get
saying "Where's my radio", I thought I'd inquire here first :)
A friend and I ordered KX2s mid-December. At the time, the estimated ship
