A friend of mine is running his K3 with an ExpertK1 PA, controlled by RS232.
Now he wants to add a P3 to the line. I assume, some of you guys are using
this combo. How did you realize controlling? Do you use Band Data ports on
K3-ACC / Expert CAT, or is it possible to control all 3 by RS232?

Last weekend I did some intensive playing with my brand new Fieldtest KX3
Serial Number 00016. It was a quite good situation for testing, because UBA
contest blocked 40m with horrible loud signals, 10m was opened so it was
possible to try some DX and the QRP Forum was quiet, so I had time enough.
Thank you Phil and Stewart, this helps a lot

Good morning all
I have seen some postings of EXPERT 1k users here on the reflector, I need
your help.
A friend has a K3 and a P3. Now he wants to connect his EXPERT PA to this
combo. The problem: The K3 RS232 is occupied by the cable to P3, both P3
RS232 are occupied by Cables to k3 and PC. Becau

The experts say, his transverters are top of the list. For his personal
station he is using a K3 and he tells all his customers, that there is no
better equipment available.

No, not an option. You have to buy two of them: 40/20 plus 40/30 to get
40/30/20 And no fun of building your own rig!

Brian,
Over the years I had about 3-4 K2 on my workbench being so deaf. All of them
had T7 on the RF board installed reversed. Check T7 if the green winding (5
turns) really is soldered to the solder lugs numbered 1 and 2. If you
reverse this transformer, you will miss about 20 dB gain.

Hi Doug,
Very interesting theme in times of DX-Clusters :-)
BeaconSee will do the job. It jumps from Frequency to frequency following
the beacon transmit time table, writing a small piece of waterfall diagram
to you computer screen for any beacon. So you can get a very nice
information how condit
