Well I decided to chase the K5D tonight (always better to start late). Lo and behold, my sub receiver does not copy anything. I've checked the menu and the KXV3 is set to NOR, speakers set to 1 or 2 makes no difference on internal speaker, RF set to max, SUB is turned on. It transmits fine on

[Elecraft] remote on off of K3

Just downloaded HRD and it controls the radio just fine, HOWEVER, there is no CAT connection when the radio is off rendering HRD useless from a remote location. Anyone know how to remotely turn on the K3 from the desktop? (I use logmein to see it). Don N1DG
