I signed up to the Elecraft mail reflector yesterday , I've not used the

ask question about the KPA-1500 and other Elecraft products ? Is their a
specific place for questions on the KPA-1500? Maybe an IO Group ?

any repair ! I compared performance with my Factory assembled 2009 K3 SN

Unless I missed it no one has mentioned " Karen's Time Sync " From the
time JT44 was introduced I used Dimension 4 , as computers became
faster and Op systems changed . D4 started giving me intermittent
problems ! Two weeks ago I started using Karen's Time Sync with no
plans to change .

While listening to CW and S meter setting at zero , the first dit or dah I

I sent the to the N1MM plus group and they seem to think it a setting in

What's happening here is when I log a station on SSB , N1MM plus will
log it as CW . But not every time , sometimes it logs correctly . It
will do this in reverse also , logging a Q in CW will log as SSB
I'm sure
I too bought the Pyle 3.5 cube speakers to use with my K3 . Now under

Hello Group
My 2k-fa will be here in a week of so , in preparation I bought 2 ea DB9
Female and 2 ea DB15 male connectors (SO2R)
Here's my setup : K3 connected to computer using LP-Pan and LP-Bridge to
connect to N1MM and NAP3 ... Looking in LP-Bridge , I have a Output Com
Port #1 and #2 and
I work mostly CW weak signal and have not heard ringing with the K3 ..
Now I will say if you have your tones "CW Pitch" set at 800 Hz + or - it
may sound like ringing to you , you might try lowering the CW Pitch say
around 600 Hz or even lower

I finished K3 Kit 6644 yesterday and noticed today when using the NB
on 6m that it the NB will generate noise only on a few different
levels ! With NB Level on then DSP set to off .. I now turn
IF-NAR from off through the numbers 1 to 7 ...when I get to
IF-NAR 6 and 7 it is much noisier then
Both the KANT3 and KAT3 provide antenna surge protection, as well as
resistors for
bleeding off static DC charge
