It would hard to improve on the K3s's performance in a similar size package.
I would not want touch screen and a spectrum scope would probably increase
the size. A good thing to have would be predistotion to improve tx IMD.

The green VFO A cursor seems very bright in comparison to my P3. I don't see

The trouble with the K3 notch is that it is outside the agc loop(audio notch)
unlike the Icom radio. It may notch out the tone but not the carrier. A huge

If you are adventurous, you might take the cover off and make sure all screws
are tight, particularly those that need to make a good chasis ground

When the tuner is in "auto", does it not automatically go into bypass(even

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to do but swh09; is the only choice
there is for setting vox on and off, a toggle. In my RUMlog I have a macro
to do just that. So if it's already on I can turn it off and vice versa.

Using SSB, in this mode PLS makes the AGC seem very fast and is very annoying
particularly when band noise and static is high. Is this normal? Things
sound great with it off.
