Hi, folks, my K3, serial no. 584, has developed an intermittent problem: at certain times after operating (mostly receiving) for a hour or so the display suddenly turns on most of the elements (sorta like the LCD TST when it's on) but not all of them. It's been doing this for the past week to two

Hi, one and all, my K3 has turned somewhat deaf on 80m only -- transmission on all bands is unaffected and the reception on all but 80 is just fine. Using a signal generator provides S9 on all band *but* 80 -- there it's down around S1 or S2. What should I be looking at? It's serial number 584 (m
