Hi all I finished my Band decoder and I have a small problem. band switching
is fine from 80M up to transverter 2,(no 160)Transverter 3 goes back to sink or
source for transverter 1 terminals. Nothing for transverter 4. My jumpers are
9-23 minus 20. I'm not sure about the other jumpers as any
Question, can the decoder decode more than the 3 transverter bands mentioned
when used with a K2.

Let me see spend $4000.00 on a radio So you can hear better, argue over
fine points in the receiver, and THEN go out and get junk cable so you can
save $50.00 . I just can't see the logic.

If sensitivity is less -140dbm on 2 meters it is DEAF!!!

To all I love my K2 it is a great radio,BUT the noise blanker well it sucks.
It works on some noise to some extent that's it. It is the weak point in the
radio, and I live with it. I allways thought Elecraft would come up with a
better design.

RG6 is 75 ohm cable. Why would you buy a great radio and worry about
performance, then go use the wrong cable. You start out at a 1.5:1 swr.
Idon't get it.

How about 1500 watt capibility, 100 watts would be a joke. The basic problem
is that -138db is deaf on 6 meters. Try to work weak f2 from europe with
that lack of sensivity. I really like the K3,but it is obvious that 6 was
not a priority in the design.I most likely will still buy one. The use o
Rubbish I run all my transverters and power amps right through 3456Mhz in
the shack with great results , On 3456 a single loop yagi has 112 elements
is 12 feet long and has about 23dbm gain with mast mount preampsresults are
excellent. More important is the correct installation of connectors to
test test
