a -500 Hz shift, your transmit (TX) is probably between 1000 and
1500 Hz.

I don't know how long this has been going on (wow, sounds like a song lyric),
but each time WSJT keys up my KX3, the transmit frequency shifts down 500hz.
For example, the standard 30m FT8 freq of 10.136 000 shifts down to 10.135 500.
The freq shift shows on the KX3 vfo B and the WSJT screen.
How close is the PX3 to your PS? I know my unit has spikes from the PS
placement. Try separating or running off of a battery, if available.

I realize this subject has come up several times in the past; I've been through
the archives. However, computer equipment changes all the time. I am in the
market for a new "quiet" monitor for the station. Are there monitors people
would happily recommend? Conversely, are there brands/models
lts to OFF, and ATU DATA is
there. This last time is the first occasion for me to look for the menu item
when connected to the amp, so the ATU DATA menu item is suppressed.

The KX3 has two antenna memory sets: Set 1 (presumably for Home) and Set 2 (for
somewhere else). These are selected by menu item ATU DATA. That feature was
added in MCU 2.76 / DSP 1.50, 4-27-2017. I took my KX3 (#9842; up-to-date
through MCU 2.90 / DSP 1.52, 12-10-2017) remote and changed to

Bryan,
Interesting. I just received my first digest from the group in a LONG time; I
thought the group died. But I got in without need for an ATT account.

The second suggestion by Don sounds like it would be "more fun" and not take
up an additional five memories.

I love simple, brilliant solutions. Thanks for the idea.

Greetings all,
I am in the market for a compact power supply. The fact that Elecraft
suggests/sells a third-party unit (SS-30DV) provides an automatic sense of
comfort. However, always trying to complicate life I was also looking at the

After 15 years away from radio, I'm back, and want to enter the digital modes.
(How things have changed!) There is much opinion that a computer's onboard time
system (Win 10 for me) is inadequate for digital, e.g., the WSJT-X user manual.
So...
1. Is this a correct assumption in all/most cases?
Mike,
I had to smile when I read your message. Our situations are so similar.
About a month ago, I came back to radio after a 15 year break. As then, I live
in an apartment in downtown Manhattan, four blocks north of the World Trade
Center. (The antenna from 1 World Trade looms clearly above.)
