your 10K, 8 pin resistor pack listed.
Of course, this is all moot if you don't actually have an 8 pin resistor
pack in your kit! For that you should contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
ask for part #E510005.

I was surprised to find on my recently completed KX1 that clockwise rotation

Hi, Kent!
Kindly take one more look at that warning. It is referring to the
internal RF Power Level control (R4 trimmer pot).
The RF Gain pot topside is expected to see much more use and was
selected because it will last a long time.
Merry Christmas!

Sounds to me like that pretty fragile RFC15 (E690013) has opened. Scott
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) can get you a new one right away.

Replace the insulated pad and reassemble. Very smart of you to use an

Hi, Steve!
It's very important that you set the scan memory Start/Stop boundaries
as described in the manual. Operating without having done this is
pretty unpredictable, and can cause some of the problems you are
experiencing.

Yes, a solder pot or even the tip of most soldering irons will easily
melt the enamel off.

I think Elecraft supplies wire in which the enamel will melt in the
