[Elecraft] [K3] Interface Cable for SteppIR?

Elecrafters, to connect the K3 to a SteppIR Antenna-Controller, what cable do i need? The K3 is already connected to a computer via the serial port. Do i need 2 normal RS232-cables where one cable plugs in the K3 controller and the other one in the controller pc? Martin -- 73, DM4iM

Hi Martin: I would like to expand on N2WN's posting. You definitely need the SteppIR Y cable. The Y cable SteppIR sells has one short leg so you might need a serial extension cable. I use the SteppIR S13 cable as the extension cable. I have a copy of the Y cable schematic. Contact me off list
