Wasn't CW-to-PSK31 introduced in the last firmware release (MCU 1.69
and DSP 1.53)?

I know nobody wants to hear this but I'm sure its something you already know.
Elecraft cannot put a time stamp on when a new firmware release with updated
features will be available. There is one persone who does MCU coding (Wayne)
and
one person who does DSP coding (Lyle). Right now their e
rk the VHF qso party without this feature.

It would also be nice to know when
Bill Björn and Alexandr I agree with your sentiment, I indeed plan on using my
K3 for 6 Meters and vhf/uhf weak signal operation. Hopefully they can implement
this change before the Spring prior to E season and I get my K3 in March or
April.

I'd like to join Alexandr and Bjorn in support of this feature.
This is one of the most useful features on the 897 and has proved to be
invaluable when on dxpeditions.
Invariably, you'll be on SSB running a pileup and someone will be calling
you on CW; it is SO handy to just hit the key and make a
Yes, Bjorn,
it is marginal but when you plan to replace all 897 around used as I/F
for microwaves... :-)
Seriously - I know several other mostly UHF/SHF contesters - this is
iportant function for them -- and they did not sent order for K3 yet ;-)

This is something I liked with my FT-897, I think it is a good idea but
probably not the highest prio on my list.
