Twenty was a bit noisy with QSB. Forty was weak with QSB. Take your
pick :) However, some of the new procedure worked. Hail signs made it
easy to copy folks first time (if the QSB did not eat you up first). But
calling by the numbers needs a little revision. I think I

Sorry about my previous reply, I don't know what happened there.
Anyway, I checked in with my new KX1, S/N 1644, running 3W from here in PA.
Lots of QRN and QSB so difficult copy. I also listened on 40m but didn't hear
much there. I heard Kevin once but not strong enough that I would have even
