Looking for a used one in good condition. If you have one and not using, maybe
you’re interested in selling.

For Sale are 2 Elecraft W2 watt meters with 2 directional couplers for
each one.
Each watt meter has one coupler for HF – 6 meters 200 watts and one
coupler for HF – 6 meters 2000 watts. They include all cables for the
sensors, power cables and USB cables as supplied by Elecraft. Manuals

Actually, it's not the W2 Utility. It's the Elecraft W2 Interface

There’s an adjustment that can be done in the W2 software, not the utility, but
it just fine tunes what’s displayed by the computer, not the unit itself.
The software, IMO, could use a bit of modernization. Really wish it could be
open-sourced.

Thank you for your suggestion!! I must be looking at the wrong
software, I have the W2 utility, and it has nothing like that in it. In
fact it looks like all it does is update firmware, and test macros... I
see no settings of any kind for the W2...

I don't own one of these, but I think calibration is done with the W2

Hello,
Looking over the manual for the W2 I see no way to calibrate it. Did I
miss something, or is there a way to perform a calibration on the wattmeter?

Tempting, but I already have one. These are expensive or I'd bid on it for
fun too. Should be an easy fix...maybe.

Hi
I have an Elecraft W2 and a HF 2kW coupler which I have a couple of issues
with and appreciate any thoughts.
#1 - When pressing the Range button the range cycles from 20 W to Auto.
When on Auto it defaults to 20 W until transmitting. When in the 20W range

Coupler for the W2 SWR/Power Meter can safely pass DC voltage without any
direct interface nor danger of damage with the sensor electronics. My
question, has anyone confirmed that the VHF/UHF couplers are safe to use

Bill,
it can not be...
VHF sensor for W2 is 200W rated only.
HF sensor rated 2000W is 1-54MHz per spec.

Just say's 14lbs on the shipping but it was the W2 watt meter that came. I
suspect the K3 will be here tomorrow or Friday.

So a package arrived from Elecraft and I was excited but it wasn¹t that big
and not knowing exactly now big the radios (Elecraft K3) is I was wondering
if it came in separate packages or something.
Here is the story and pictures:

I have an excellent condition Elecraft W2 wattmeter with the 200 and
2000 watt 1.8-54 mhz sensors and the 200 watt 144-450 mhz sensor.
It all looks and works good with the remote cable, power cable and
manual.
I'll ship and insure it in the US for $325
US Postal Money order or possibly Paypal.
Greetings list,
I recently added the W2 to monitor the power output at M0PCB on HF and
VHF with the K3 and amplifiers. For this it is great, I particularly
like the speed at which it reacts to the output power.
I am in the process of adding an external transverter so i can make use
of my K3 an
Everyone,
I am sending this to the forum as well as Elecraft support for everyone's
information.
After receiving and assembling the W2 I decided to look inside the 1-2000 HF
head to see what is there. Clearly impressed I reinstalled
the cover to the head and hooked it up to the station. when I
Now this is the real deal! With the small window one can just leave it
up all the time. I like having the reflected power in watts and SWR
both. Now you can get an exact numerical power reading so you get the
reading as accurate as the W2 circuitry can produce which Eric says
exceeds the spec
Now available on the Elecraft website (in Software/W2) is the "Elecraft
W2 Interface" for both Windows and Mac.
David Fleming, W4SMT, has written a cool program that has:
* bargraph displays of Forward power, Reflected power, and SWR,
* the actual numeric values from the W2,
