I don't particulary like the HC-4 but I do think the HC-5 works and sounds very good. I would use no EQ with either one. Now with the PR-781 since its a full range mic I EQ taking some lows out, adding some highs and pulling it down slightly in the middle. 73 de KE4WY Jim Sent from the land

I was hoping someone using one of the Heil Headsets (the 4 element) would respond to this recent mic thread. As a contester, I use these on both my K3's and would be interested in the settings folks use. I've done quite a bit of CW with these great rigs, but not much SSB, so have never been
