Dan, Too much information - if the VFO is not working, then the HI CUR messages and power output are not yet relevant. First step is to see if the VFO is working and is on the correct frequency. Connect the internal counter probe to TP1. Set the K2 frequency to 7000.00 kHz and do a CAL FCTR.
