Can't tell you how often folks with lower-48 experience expect to
take a vacation in late August or September during "the cooler sunny
fall months". Maybe where you live its like that in August-September
but in southcentral and southeast Alaska its time for the fall

mated in the EC-2, using that tuner by itself for a different amp would require

The answer is if you want to go to some bit of trouble, yes you can use
the KAT100 in the EC2 enclosure. If you want to do it only once in a
while, then you can, but if you think you will do it frequently, you
will want another KAT100.
