I use my K3 in diversity receive 90% of the time. I have matched 2.7 KHz
filters in both receivers. The sub receiver has only the one filter the main
also has 500 Hz, 6 KHz and 13 KHz filters.
I have had no issues when the two receivers are using different filters. I
may be lucky. I understand
What is supposed to happen if one uses unmatched filters in main/sub rx?

Steve,
If you install the unmatched filters according to the IB, The 2 receivers
will sound like they are slowly alternating between the two speakers or
earphones.
If you are using SSB then just set-up the filters using the average offset
for both and you won't have that effect and save a $ or
6 matches
