It's been a while since I asked but are there any K3 owners on Oahu, Hawaii?
This time I'm serious about purchasing a K3. I had to put the purchase
aside last year due to my son's eye surgery and focused on that with his
recovery. I would like to see if I can listen to a few.

Are there any elecraft K3 owners on Oahu that's willing to share with me
your "noise level, hi" that is, let me listen to the radio, especially when
a plasma TV is on nearby. I'm trying to determine if it will reduce Plasma
TV RFI more than my Icom 7600 does. The

The cures for RFI from a plasma TV are 1) turn it off; o
Any ham who purchases a plasma TV because it is cheap, will spend far
more in the agony of trying to cope with the noise.
You can try to ferrite the cables coming out, but plasma TV's seem to
be able to radiate interference directly from the set.
