[Elecraft] K3 RIT Function

I have S/N 3381 up and running and trying to get used to all of the new buttons and knobs. I'm enjoying all of the features and the especially the NR cabability. I just found that I can tune the receiver using the RIT knob without the RIT button engaged and the RIT icon not shown on the

Is there a way to keep the RIT/XIT offset displayed on the VFO B area. It only stays on a brief time and then goes back to VFO B freq or whatever disp function that is selected. How can we keep the RIT on the screen? Thanks, de gary, kd9sv ___

It is possible to choose RIT/XIT info to be displayed permanently in VFO B region by DISP switching and VFO-B knob settings. But... This is why I called (long time ago) for LOCK of VFO-B Knob as alternative to VFO B Frq Lock as there are situations it is better to keep whatever displayed on

Hi Gary. If you turn on the alternate display DISP you can rotate through various display parameters...one of those being the RIT offset. So tap DISP and find 0.00 and it will stay on the VFO B display till you change it. - 73, Greg - AB7R Whidbey Island WA NA-065
