It also takes up WAY too much screen real estate for anything that I

We'll look forward to the results of your efforts.

Most of what you are looking for are displayed in a window in DL2RUM's

that's not an option.

The Yaesu DMU-2000 has a mode that displays all the parameters, though it
scrolls to list all of them. You can also change parameters while viewing the
parameter display, as I remember.
It would be a nice addition.

Barry,
I don't believe there is anything out there that only displays the
parameters. Most applications that display the parameters also allow
them to be changed - making the changes is the minor part of the
program's work.
You could just run the application and look at the display - there

Not sure folks are "getting" what I'm talking about. I'm talking about
something SIMPLE that just DISPLAYS parameters, to make up for the limited
K3 display real estate.

trx-manager.com
Developer Laurent uses a K3 and keeps it up-to-date with all the firmware

Isn't the P3 going to do this eventually? Show K3 parameters in the waterfall

I suspect that I'm not alone in continuously butting up against the

Hi Barry,
I'm working on an app similar to what you describe. It will be similar to
K3-EZ, but instead of having all of the various options in a tab panel in one
window, there will be a number of 'mini' apps that can each be displayed in
it's own window. This will allow the user to pick which a
Exactly...and it works GREAT for this exact purpose.
Other than the K3 Utility which is a necessity, I think LPB is the single most
useful
piece of software out there that supports the K3.

If you want to share the K3's serial port, LP-BRIDGE does a great job. I
use Kcomm, PowerSDR-IF, EasyPal, Digipan at the same time (if a needed sound

If you need more serial ports on your PC, I've found that PCI Express cards
are a good - though expensive -

Which is a very good reason for supporting the K3 as a network addressable
device. Each K3 should have its own IP address.

potential new application to augment the limited display of the K3.
