I got an acknowledgement of my cancellation from Elecraft. I'd suggest
that anyone in Ralph's situation who decided not to pursue a K4 order
should let them know so that people further down the waiting list can
move up.

I have a K3 and a TS890s too. The TS890s is great in many respects, but
the K3 still has much better NB/NR and APF features.

I own a K3 and K3S (Both fine radios but now surplus if anyone is interested)
and I ordered a K4. When I got tired of waiting I bought a TS-890 and couldn't
be happier. Always liking a spare on hand I picked up a TS-590SG for a song.

waiting.

Hi Pete - apparently (my guess) demand is high enough that they don't need
to capture funds right away.
When your radio is nearing the top of the queue (but not necessarily ready

Two years ago next week, I ordered two KXV3B modules. I paid in full up
front.
I have heard nothing directly since, only a few general head-pattings

About 3 weeks ago, I ordered a K4D, and was surprised not to be asked
for any money up front. I also got an order number and acknowledgement
from Madelyn Gomez, saying that delivery time should be 4-6 weeks.
This struck me as an odd, though not unwelcome way to do business,
