Hello Rick! The reference should be to the K3, not the KXV3. Recent firmware provides the "ALT" tune you are looking for. Tap ATU TUNE a second time within 5 seconds on the same band/antenna and a more extensive search algorithm will be used. 73, Lyle KK7P ___

I have just installed the KAT3 and it seems to be working, however, i can only get a SWR of 4.0 on the K3 on my 40M end fed antenna. I know the SWR with this antenna is very high, but I can get the SWR down to 2.5 with my K2 ATU. The K2 is using ALT tune to get there taking a long time.
