Pete, Fine that you are using an FTDI USB to serial adapter - but what is the connection from the DE-9 conncetor on that adapter to the KX2. If it is the KXSERa cable, then it should work fine, but if you have wired your own DE-9 to 3.5mm cable, then check it to make certain it has the corre
